TNT RACING has three competitive boats that race to dominate the competition! Paul Gahr Jr., the driver of Live Wire races in the A400 class, Tim Cummings driver of Jeepers Creepers races in the super modified class and his son Dillon Brown Cummings also races in the super modified class. At age 15, Dillon has already accomplished international racer status. Being the youngest sprint boat driver in the world at age 16, Dillon had a fantastic 2008 season with 600 horsepower. We look forward to seeing what Dillon can do in this 2009 season and on.
This family friendly sport of sprint boat racing is the most exciting from of racing that exists! Sprintboats run everything from a naturally aspirated, high octane fuel to injected or blown methanol, sending water roosting out of the track nonstop! The horsepower range is from 400 to upwards of 1,500 or more! Participants race a 13 foot aluminum hulled boat around a small 25-35 turn, water-filled, 10-12 foot wide track at speeds of up to 80 plus miles per hour. Turning literally on a dime, the driver and navigator can experience anywhere from 3-7 g’s per turn. Sprint Boat Racing is a non-stop, elimination based, hair on fire sporting event that is one of the most exciting forms of racing that exists.
